The Principle's line of sight

Reporting

The Principal receives a comprehensive quarterly report on the activities of its beneficiaries. At any point, the Principal and/or a selected rating agency may audit the beneficiaries to verify their participation in the various Raizcorp programmes. To this end, a list of beneficiaries and their contact details are always made available to the Principal.

Our reporting is supported by Raizcorp's unique performance measurement intranet systemMOVA (Measurement Of Value Add). MOVA is used, among other things, to record goals and submit weekly reports, and to track performance and make decisions regarding the beneficiaries’ progress.

, called MOVA (Measurement Of Value Add). MOVA is used, among other things, to record goals and submit weekly reports, and to track performance and make decisions regarding the beneficiaries’ progress. Raizcorp therefore generates the reports which you will need to submit to your rating agency.

When do you score your BBBEE points?

Once a contract between Raizcorp and the Principal has been concluded, and Raizcorp has received proof of payment from the Principal, these details are submitted to the selected rating agency. The agency determines the BBBEE points to be allocated to the Principal, based on the enterprise development spend. The points may be derived immediately at this point.

Getting Started

Step 1..    The Principal decides how much budget they wish to allocate to Enterprise Development.

Step 2..    The Principal decides (with the assistance of Raizcorp, if required) which of the products (or variations thereof) are most suitable for their particular needs.

Step 3..    A meeting is held between Raizcorp and the Principal to outline a plan on how the Enterprise Development budget will be spent over the allocated period.

Step 4..    The Principal and Raizcorp enter into a legal agreement outlining the required outcomes of Step 3. Payments are made to Raizcorp. At this point, the Principal may allocate the amount paid over to Raizcorp as Enterprise Development-spend and receive the commensurate points.

Step 5..    Raizcorp begins the Find and Filter process. Potential beneficiaries are short-listed and presented to the Principal. If infrastructure is one of the outcomes of Step 3 (such as for a branded prosperator), then construction begins concurrently with Find and Filter.

Step 6..    The Principal makes a decision on selecting the beneficiary candidates (often, Raizcorp is asked to do this).

Step 7..    Raizcorp enters into a legal agreement with the beneficiaries, stating what benefits they will receive and what their responsibilities are. The beneficiary is also made aware of who the Principal is, and that they might be required to meet on occasion.

Step 8..    The interventions begin and last for a minimum period, based on which programme is embarked upon, and the Principal will receive reports on the progress of their beneficiaries.
